2010 Christmas Parade

This year Holly, Aleah, and I met Mom and Tom at the Christmas Parade. Of course Shag had to work. I took Aleah's picture before we left and a few more at the parade.

Oh Granny Cleo and Aunt Joy in Georgia...Aleah wanted me to post thank you very much for her Christmas Card, and we can't wait for all of you to come back to visit and stay longer :)

Playing before the parade.

Nan Ma and Nan Tom brought Aleah these dolls to the parade.

I love Corvettes!!

This float was my favorite. This is what Christmas is all about!!

Last was the jolly little man...Santa!!

Tea Party with Santa

Aleah was invited to a Tea Party with Santa. This was her second time to go and my first. Her dad took her when she was two and last year we missed the party. It is a great way for Aleah to experience new things in her life..like sipping from a tea cup, dressing up, and learning manners. She loved it...especially the pizza. She wanted more!! On the other hand Santa was not her favorite thing. Aleah would not sit in his lap or get near him. I made the Southern Standard Paper!! Oh Boy!! Here are a few pictures I took at the party!!

After Santa arrived, he told them a story about his reindeer. Each child had the opportunity to tell him what they wanted for Christmas. They all got a bag of goodies along with some Magic Dust. The Magic Dust is for them to sprinkle on the lawn so that Santa reindeer can see where to land his sleigh.

Momma always told me to listen!!

I hope I have been good to get my two page list!!

Little hands with nails painted for the Tea Party.

I wonder what she is thinking here!!

Awww! A sweet little look!!

A little play time after the party. She could not wait to blow bubbles that Santa gave her. She had the best time with some of the other little girls. Then she found a tricycle...oh me..this girl.

A Few MoreThanksgiving Pictures

After we ate with Mom and Tom at Cracker Barrel on Thanksgiving morning, I made some pictures of the girls when we returned home. It was a beautiful day!!

Thanksgiving Break Week

We are out of school the week of Thanksgiving. Monday, we took some cattle to the sale and looked at some counter tops for our kitchen. Tuesday, Aleah stayed with her Dad, and Mom and I went shopping for Christmas. It is always comical with Mom alone!! Wednesday, we had Thanksgiving early because Shag had to work. Momma, Tom, Holly, Doug, and us got together at our house and had great family time.
This is Aleah and her Dad after church. He looks like a proud Dad showing off her work she did at church.
A few things she made at school. We are blessed to have great teachers at preschool. Just love all of her past and present teachers!

Shag and Aleah took a few pictures of the sky. Aleah came running in the house ..Momma I need the camera me and dad are going to take pictures of the moon. Earlier they had been deer hunting and saw a momma doe as Aleah calls them.

Our Little Cupcake

She is ready to get her bucket full of candy.

Holly ..aka..Issy gave Aleah a cookie before we left. I believe I snapped the camera too late.

Aleah dressed as a Cupcake this year for Halloween. Holly went with us to the neighbor my mother did live in. Then we went to a few other places for Halloween. We had the best time.

Fall Break

Today, is the last day of Fall Break. We have done a little of everything such as painting the last room in the house, shopping, drawing with chalk on the pavement, riding 4-wheelers, and making pictures. It sure has been a relaxing week without having to watch a clock. The weather has been beautiful with the cool air and the leaves turning that fall color. Thank you Lord for all you do for me and my family!!

The Pumpkin Patch

We experienced another GREAT trip to the Pumpkin Patch this year with preschool. First, we took a little hay ride to the pumkin patch to find that perfect pumpkin for fall. Aleah wanted a small pumpkin again this year. After the hay ride, we went through the corn maze, and guess who got lost....Aleah. She was little scared by the time we found her. Aleah had pumpkins painted on both sides of her face. Then, we had a picnic by the pond, and it was wonderful to sit down for few minutes. Finally, we decided it was time to leave. Then Aleah wanted to go through the hay maze. Well, I had go through the exit way to find her without a flashlight. Let me tell you, it was DARK. She actually took another way out through the exit, and I was still trying to find my way back out. Let's just say next time I will have a flashlight.
Hard to find the right one with this many to select from!
Not sure what they are up to!!

No way is her daddy going to get her close to the cow.
