Pictures of 2011 Snow Storm

This is the kind of snow we use to have when I was a child!! The snow had enough moisture in it to roll a snowball.

Grandma and Aunt Joy We Got Snow Because

ALEAH put a cottonball under her pillow. Let me start from the beginning, on Thursday (Jan. 6) I picked Aleah up at preschool and went to the funeral home. As we got out of the vehicle, I noticed a cotton ball under her shoe lace and of course I ask why do you have a piece of cotton in your shoe. Her responds was I am suppose tooooo! The entire time she is saying I" I CAN"T LOOSE IT, MOMMA!!!!" Well, it was still unclear to me, so I took it out and put it in my coat pocket. As soon as we left, I had to put the cotton ball under her shoelace. Well, I am still in the dark on this!! When she is getting ready for bed, she tells her Daddy she has to put her pajamas on inside out. Of course he is completely lost ...bless his heart. We quickly explain to him why!!! So we are off to bed, and Aleah said where is my cotton ball? This is when I realized why she had it under her shoelace. Aleah began telling me the story that her preschool teacher told her to do for snow. Here are the instruction......wore pajamas inside out, put cotton ball under pillow, do a snow dance and say a prayer!!!! It worked three days later!

This is what we got!! We have been out of school for three days.

Snow and Ice 2010

Before we went back to work and school, we took a trip to see the Ice and Snow. This was our first trip to see the amazing ice theme "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town". The artisans arrived in October and carved this walk-through venture from 2 million pounds of ice. Now!!!! that is amazing!!
Each piece was so detailed with beautiful color.

It was COLD inside !!

Snow Time!!

The only picture I got in the hotel because my batteries went down in my camara.

Aleah's Progress Report from Preschool

This is Aleah's second year at preschool, and we have been so happy. The teachers are super. I feel so comfortable in dropping her off knowing they are going to take care of her and educate her to the best of their ability. I love all of her teachers she had last year and this year!!

Our Family on Christmas Day 2010

I just knew Aleah would be up early to see what Santa had left. Well, we all slept late. The weather was cold and snowy...great for Christmas morning. Mom, Tom, Doug, and Holly came over and shared Christmas. We are so blessed to have a close family that loves each other very much.

A surprised little girl.

Our little princesses all dressed up with her babies. She loves to dress up!! When she was little, Aleah would go to her sisters closet get her high heel shoes and walk throught hte house with them on.

I love these people!!

Before Christmas Aleah kept telling her dad asnd me she wanted to get Nan Ma a spider for Christmas. Aleah and her dad went shopping, and she brought back a HUGE spider for her grandma. It was so funny! Of course she had to put it in a bag hoping she would think she had something from Bath and Body. Mom is not very fond of spiders.

Surprise! Mom's facial expressions just crack me up!! What is it Grandma!!

Get it out!!

That is what you call a SPIDER!

Christmas Eve 2010

Christmas Eve was a quit day without a lot going on. While I was busy cooking, Aleah was playing with her favorite toy...BABIES. She had her babies in a line and was talking, feeding, and dressing each one. As the night went on, we got ready for Santa by writing a messsge and leaving him and his reindeers a snack on her Christmas plate.

Gingerbread House for Christmas

Aleah's daddy let her open one of gifts before Christmas! This is what she unwrapped. She would tell her daddy everytime she saw one she would like to make a Gingerbread House. I got out my decorating kit and helped her decorate her house.

Here is some major concentration going on!!

Almost finished.

We took Holly to Logans for her birthday bash. It was a great family night!! This night will make some wonderful memories. Sorry Doug I did not get a picture of you!!
