Corn Day 2010

We decided to head out to the Farmers Market for CORN DAY. Of course my two wanted to get there early, because we decided to go to the lake for the first time this year. It seems that we work to much and little time to enjoy life.

Look at that face!! She had so much fun, and she blueberries, watermelon, and several pieces of corn.

Something got their attention...maybe a pan of fresh boiled corn:)

Late Posting Graduation Pictures

I am finally posting pictures of Holly's graduation in May. I had to use Mom's camera to take pictures, and then I forgot to get the card to post pictures. We were so excited for her accomplishments while working full time at the bank. Hopefully, she will transfer to a four year college to complete a four year degree. Aleah and her dad did not get to come because they were signed up for a picnic at Lake Winnie. Mom, Doug( my son-in-law), Hillary (Holly's friend), and I attended the graduation, and afterwards we all went to eat. What a wonderful time!!

June is Dairy Month

Aleah and I went to Co-op today to find her Dad a gift for Dad's Day. When we walked in they were giving away ice cream and chocolate milk. Aleah made herself at home!!

Rattlesnake in the Cove

Shag has cut hay all week in the cove. Bless his heart he never got to roll because of the rain, and now he is back at his full time job for a few days. Every year he cuts in this area, and he always sees wild turkeys, deers, and fawns. Well, this is the first time for a rattlesnake. Shag said he cut a swipe by a tree and came back around and saw it laying on the ground. Aleah and I took him a picnic lunch. I always pay close attention when I step foot on that soil because I know those snakes are aound. Shag said come and look what I found today. I could not believe my eyes. I know now why I don't help him rake in this area!

Snowbird in The Summer !!

I signed Aleah up the Summer Reading Program at the library. Snowbird read a few stories to the children about penguins. He got her attention, but she would not get close. We have been reading books, after books, after books. It is fun!! Aleah is reading books to us using her on words. When she finishes reading, she will say wasn't that a good book Mom or Dad!! How cute is that!!

Church Building Dedication

Sunday at church we had a dedication for the addition that was built. It has been and fun and challenging process for our church family. The addition was dedicated to a member of our church, Mr Hasnson. The fellowship hall will be called the Mr. Hanson Fellowship Hall!! He had no knowledge of this kind act. Surprise! Surprise!

After church, Aleah and I decided to pick a few flowers from our garden and decorated the house. She said she was picking them for her daddy, who was working in the field rolling hay.

Silly Face!!

A Busy Saturday

Early this morning I loaded the mower on the trailer and headed off to mow. After we got home, we got ready for a wedding. Holly's friends, Hillary and Crain, got married at Stone Door. It was such a sweet wedding. The scenery across the mountain was breathtaking. I really enjoyed myself, and I wish both of them the best life ever together.

This is Aleah and Dalton when we reached the park. They love to run and play together. I always tease her Daddy that he will be his son-in-law one day LOL. He doesn't think it is to funny.

These three were so sweet together. Aleah wanted to follow Dalton around everywhere, and she ended up coming down the aisle with the bride's mother during the wedding. I was a little embarrassed to say the least.

Here are my girls. I love them dearly. They love each other so much, even if they do fuss and get mad at each other.

This view was behind the Bride and Groom while saying their vows. So beautiful!!

All of that runnning and playing tired someone out.
